Security deposit deductions are the primary source of dispute between renters and owners. This course provides important training for rental owners and apartment community staff, both new and experienced. Students are provided with information and are then presented with a series of questions to be resolved, building confidence and certainty one step at a time. At the end of this course, students will be able to identify appropriate and inappropriate deposit deductions and distinguish between actual damage and “normal wear and tear”, based on California law.  Course fee is $59.
